It was  mixed feeling for the members of staff of Information and Public Relations Unit, UNN as the 5 Vacation job students posted to their unit ended their 6 weeks Vacation Job.

The Public Relations Officer of the University, Chief Dr Okwun Omeaku, in his farewell speech, appreciated the students for their diligence and hard work during their stay in the unit.

The PRO hie (Dr) Okwun Omeaku addressing the Staff and Vac jobbers
He went further to advise the students to put into action all that they had learnt from the PR unit and continue to be good ambassadors of the unit and UNN as a whole, wherever they find themselves.

"PR is a vast job that covers all disciplines due to its research nature", he said while assuring them that their experiences in PR unit would  always come  handy in whatever they do irrespective of their field of study.

Reacting to the PRO's speech, one of  the Vac Job Students, Kenneth Ugwu, on behalf of the other students, appreciated the PRO and the entire PR staff for their show of love, guidance, mentoring and bond that existed in the unit. He said that they had learnt news report writing, photography, filing and documentation, video clipping and many more.

Parting gifts were also given to the students in appreciation for their time and input in the unit, and of course some light refreshment, courtesy of the PRO.

The five Vacation Job Students were, Blessing Attah, Eyi Oko Uko, Onyinye Okafor, Chidubem Emeter and Kenneth Ugwu
